Extract WhatsApp status of your friends in your mobile


Have you ever think that your friend updated a new status and that looks amazing, so you do want to keep it as a status and asks him for sending that status. Maximum people will do like this, but asking him/her or searching in Google for it is a waste of time. You can extract each and every status from your mobile if you know this trick. So let's get into it.

  1. Open your file manager (default) or I prefer to use ES File Manager. Navigate to the folder "WhatsApp" and open it. Once you open that, it will look like this                                            
  2. Once you open that folder, you can find three folders named "Backups, "Databases", "Media". Open the Media folder.                                            
  3. If you open that folder by default it will not show the "Statuses" folder so we need to enable it by doing this. Just go to Settings of your file manager and enable the option like "Show hidden files". For ES File Explorer slide from the right side and you will get an option for enabling "show hidden files", just click on it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                   
  4. Now you can find the folder ".Statuses". Open the folder and you will able to get all the photos and videos updated on your mobile.
