MIUI 9 Is All Set To Release, Check out What's New

Chinese leading smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi hits millions of hearts by Redmi series. It is a massive journey in the hardware industry and manufacturing quality smartphones. Now it's time to break the barriers of the software industry. Developing a new user interface and fast process make this happen in MI smartphones.

MIUI 9 Global version is officially introduced on November 1 2017, But it is not released for Redmi smartphones. The official global version will release in three batches based on the device models up to the end of this year. Check for the date of release for your device below. So let's check out what's new in it.

Lightning Fast:-

MIUI 9 will be the fastest software than any other present in the market. Applications tend to be open fast. Overall user experience is improved for fast and smooth performance. Xiaomi has named this version "Lightning Fast". As the name suggests applications will be open fast than earlier. System animations are optimized and added automatic tasks to clear the cache. A new file system has created for better RAM usage. Switching between the applications works very smooth. Faster performance doesn't affect battery efficiency.

Split Screen:-

Multi-tasking made easy by the split-screen. It is like a multi-window application, we can use two applications at a time by splitting the screen into two halves. Work functions are easily done by this feature. Watching your favourite Netflix series and browsing at a time. 

Optimizations:-

1. Data transfer has optimized for faster transfer of files between devices. MI drop now works like sharing application between two MI smartphones.
2. The WiFi speed boost is enabled for downloading and uploading at maximum speed.
3. Faster app launches.
4. CPU is accelerated for better performance with the proper control of processor cores. 
5. Dynamic Resource Allocation is the new optimization in MIUI. When you open a lot of applications, normal systems take more memory for background process and switching of apps, but Dynamic Resource Allocation provides sufficient speed and memory for most active application and for remaining applications memory allocated equally.
6. The notification shade has introduced for the quick reply to messages without opening the application. You can send a reply via the notification panel.

More Features:-

1. App vault collects important shortcuts and info. Displays most used app to switch easily.
2. Gallery app is now equipped with more editing options. Now you can remove the unwanted things in your image.
3. Festival cards are introduced for Indian users to celebrate 25 festivals with beautiful and amazing cards.
4. For user convenience, a Quick silent switch is introduced to enable DND services with one click.
5.  MI video app comes with more Video formats, Automatic grouping, Multilingual subtitles, Private videos, Switch between audio tracks.
6. Buttons and gesture shortcuts.

MIUI 9 Global stable update is divided into three batches.

1st batch ( 7th Nov)

• Mi Max 2

2nd batch ( Mid Nov)

• MI Mix 2
• Redmi Y1, Y1 lite
• Redmi 4
• Mi 5
• Mi Max

3rd batch ( Mid Dec)

• All other MI devices.
