Now You Can Share Your Live Location In Whatsapp

Unless the previous location sharing concept, Whatsapp has introduced a new location sharing concept that shares live location wherever you go. 

  • You can see an option like "Share live location", it sends your live location to the users whom you want and they can reach wherever you go.
  • Old versions supported only present the location where it is used to send the particular location or an address.
  • If you enable this service then your location will be shared as live to the other person.
  • You can turn it off if you are not willing to share your location.
  • So here you can see that participant's in this chat will use your location in real-time. You can set the duration up to some time to share your location.
  • The location will be shared even though you are not using the app and you can it turn it off whenever you want.
  • This feature is released for all Whatsapp users. Check it by clicking on any chat and try to share your location. If "Share your live location" enabled or not. 
  • Telegram and Facebook have similar features to know the users live location.
  • Whatsapp has mentioned that live sharing doesn't affect your device battery performance. There are so many techniques to save battery life.
