Overview of Android Oreo 8.0

Google has now officially released android 8.0 named Oreo. The update is released to its Pixel smartphones. In the past, Google is hiding the name of the updated version until its release. Google had chosen solar eclipse for the USA as the better day to release the 8.0 update. Oreo logo comes with chocolate biscuits and vanilla cream inside it like we all know.  As a tradition, Google has unveiled a statue of Android Oreo 8.0 in their headquarters during its release. Android Oreo is also called Open wonder.

What's New:-

Android Oreo comes with new improved features than the previous version Nougat. Nougat didn't make running on the number of devices than Marshmallow. It's time to Oreo to make it possible.
  • Emoji has redefined in the new Android Oreo. These are more rounded than the previous blob emoji's.
  • Autofill API's are much more developed to recognise the passwords and users can easily select.
  • Picture in Picture (PiP) display has added to Oreo. Users can easily interact with other applications while watching videos.
  • The application is resized and with a variety of shapes.
  • Limits the background usage for more battery life.
  • Neighbourhood Aware Networking (NAN) is the new feature included, applications and nearby devices can easily communicate with each other without the internet.
  • Allows the third-party developers to access the fingerprint gestures.
  • Notifications now will appear as an icon on the notification bar instead of overlay.
  • Downloadable font sizes are included to reduce the apk size and to improve the success rate in installation.
  • Boot Rescue mode is added to backup the device when there are any problems in the device boot up.
